Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn addressed former University of Hawai‘i star quarterback Colt Brennan’s recent low numbers at a post-practice media session yesterday.
“(Colt) was less disciplined in his approach to the game,” Zorn said. “He was moving when he didn’t need to move and not moving when he needed to move. Those things cost him. He didn’t make throwing errors; he made a couple of non decisions that should have been decisions. He saw it on video and is working on it and he looked much better (at practice).”
In the most recent preseason game against the Buffalo Bills, Brennan was 4-for-8 for 37 yards, a drop-off from his 9-for-10, two-touchdown performance last week against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Redskins’ next preseason game will be Saturday against the New York Jets.
