Melissa McFerrin is doing a great job launching the Koloa Plantation Days celebration. She was at the Hapa Road Walk along with Katie Beer (Bruce Smalling was doing the video this time) who said she always wanted to do the walk, and Saturday was the day.
Carol Ann Davis had her 40D for the event, but said she was having to adjust for the multiplier factor. She had a therapy dog on the walk, too.
Over at the Kapa‘a Main Diamond, hats off to the Kawaihau Community Little League Association for doing such a great job with the state tournament.
Bryan Aiwohi was doing microphone duties on opening day and mahalo to Jocelyn Awong for compiling the rosters of all the teams playing.
Fig Mitchell was doing the microphone on Saturday and Abe Kuhaulua was there for all the games. Abe was sharing officiating duties with Alan Branco (now we know it’s baseball season).
Teddy Williams was having a crazy day (full moon was Friday) starting with the Junior Lifeguard island finals and ending at the Anahola brush fire.
But it’s Monday and the start of another week. Hopefully, there’ll be time to breathe.
