The Garden Island corrects errors of fact in news stories. If you notice an error, please contact us at one of the numbers listed below.

• In the sports story, “Jeopardizing JV: Budget cuts may force schools to cut JV programs,” it was reported that the Department of Education had an athletics budget of $4.2 million. The DOE actually has $13.3 million for athletics total. The $4.2 million figure was the amount allotted for the coaches’ salaries.
