Margaret Tachera
Margaret Noenoe Tachera of Beaverton, Ore., formerly of Hilo, died July 8, 2008, at the age of 80. Born in Kahului, Maui, she was a retired laborer.
She is survived by sons Eric and Raynard Arizo of Kaua‘i, Mark and Raymond Arizo of Honolulu, and Roy Arizo of Hilo; daughters Muriel Cabanting of Hilo and Faith Arizo of Kaua‘i; sister Elizabeth Toribio of Hilo; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family from 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, at Nuuanu Memorial Park; service begins at 10:30 a.m. Light lunch to follow. Burial at 1 p.m. at Punchbowl National Cemetery in Honolulu. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Aloha attire is suggested.

Miriam Lee
Miriam Lihau Lee of Kapahulu, O‘ahu, died June 24, 2008, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home at the age of 87. Born July 23, 1920, in Waialua, O‘ahu, she was a room attendant with Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.
She is survived by sons Joseph Keola Lee of Honolulu and John Hanale Lee of Kaua‘i; grandchildren Serina Tavares of Kalaheo and Gaelan Lee of Kalaheo; great-grandchildren Shawn Tavares and Shelbee Tavares, both of Kalaheo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, at Diamond Head Mortuary in Honolulu; service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. followed by burial at Diamond Head Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.

Mabel Libarios
Mabel Elizabeth Sabarre Libarios of Kealakekua, Big Island, died July 2, 2008, at Kona Community Hospital at the age of 75. Born May 9, 1933, in Kealakekua, she was a state maintenance worker at Keahole Airport.
She is survived by daughters Leaticia (Alfred) Baltero of Kealakekua, Valencia Napua (Thomas Kevin) Kam of Kailua-Kona, Gina DePontes of Kalaoa, Stephanie Libarios of Kealakekua, Estelle DeGuair of Kailua-Kona, Loveyann (Hamana) Ventura of Kailua-Kona and Celeste (Alan) Minamishin of Kailua-Kona; sons Salvador Libarios Jr. of Kealakekua, Rory Libarios of Kealakekua, Dominic Scotty Libarios of south Maui; brothers Lawrence (Kay) Sabarre of Kahaluu, Kona, Rueben Rubio of Honaunau; sister Patsy Sabarre of Captain Cook; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Honalo. Casual attire suggested. Celebration of Life luncheon to follow.

Carolina Espino
Carolina Cabacungan Espino of Kaumakani died July 13, 2008, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. Born July 25, 1938, in Waimea, she was a custodial supervisor with Kaua‘i County.
She was preceded in death by parents Alejandro and Epiphania Cabacungan, brother Rudolpho Cabacungan and sister Dolores Raymundo.
She is survived by husband Raymond Espino Sr. of Kaumakani, sons Raymond (Linda) Espino Jr. of Hanapepe and Robby Espino of Kaumakani, daughters Melanie Espino of Maui and Lorelei “Lola” Campos of Lihu‘e, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, brother Alfredo Cabacungan of Honolulu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church; rosary at 9:45 a.m. followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Burial at Hanapepe Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Tom Beck
Tom W. Beck Sr. died July 12, 2008, at Wilcox Hospital at the age of 94. He was born Oct. 13, 1913.
He was preceded in death by wife Helen Riggs Beck and grandson James W. Beck.
He is survived by sons Tom W. Beck II (Jennie) of Wailua and David A. Beck (Josefina) of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter Donna B. Seegar-Sedmak (Steven Sedmak) of Baltimore, Md.; grandchildren Robert Beck of Kaua‘i, William Seegar (Beth) and Tom Seegar of Virginia; Sandra B. Cole (Spencer) of Oregon, Brian Beck of Nevada and James Seegar of Maryland; and great-grandchildren John Thomas Beck of California, Allison Katlyn Stuart of Georgia and Mason Thrasher Cole of Oregon.
Funeral service and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25, at the Veterans Cemetery in Kane‘ohe, O‘ahu. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution to a military veterans’ charity of your choice.
Ramona Lemi
Ramona Aradanas Lemi of Hanama‘ulu died June 30, 2008, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 73. Born Dec. 13, 1934, in Kahalu‘u, O‘ahu, she was retired from Hawaiian Fruit Packers Cannery as a laborer.
She was preceded in death by husband Moises Lemi Sr. and daughter Lorie Ann Lemi.
She is survived by children Michelle Lemi, Moises Lemi Jr., Lisa (Terry) Rosare, Wayne (Joanie) Lemi, Allan Lemi, Harold (Debbie) Watson; brothers Johnny F. Tangalin Sr., Paul Pepe‘e, Richard Pepe‘e; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. during a celebration of her life on Saturday, July 26, at Immaculate Conception Church; Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
