HILO — Kaua‘i’s Pony baseball team got another win yesterday, defeating Wai‘anae’s all stars 12-6 and keeping them undefeated for the State Pony Baseball Championships at the Boys and Girls Club on the Big Island.
Kaua‘i (2-0) got to a five-run lead in the first and extended to eight in the fourth. Kaua‘i’s Alika Emayo was awarded the win for the day.
Kaua‘i moves on to play Hawai‘i Kai at 3:30 p.m.
The championship game will be played tomorrow.
Maui is the only other team in the tournament, so far, that is undefeated.
