Michelle Wie, Cyd Okino and Kimberly Kim are among the some 36 golfers who must return to the course today to finish the second round of the U.S. Women’s Open, but are projected to miss the cut.
Wie was 2 over for the day and 10 over for the tournament, with one more hole to play before the weather delay was called.
Kim, who was playing in the same group as Wie, was 4 over on the day and 8 over for the tournament.
Okino was 2 over through the 14th on the day and 8 over for the tournament.
The cut will be made today after all golfers complete their rounds.
At the Buick Open, Dean Wilson and Parker McLachlin missed the cut.
Wilson shot 2-over 74 yesterday to finish 143, missing the cut by two strokes.
McLachlin only carded in two birdies to his five bogeys to finish 3-over 75 on the day and 145 overall.
