Meet the author of Animal Stories for the Soul

Tomorrow and Sunday at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Lihu’e, Father William Miller will present “A Conversation with Dog.” Miller is the author of “The Gospel According to Sam: Animal Stories for the Soul” and the rector at St. Michael’s.

He will provide an animal-themed sermon at all three services reflecting on “What I’ve Learned From My Trinity of Terriers: Sam, Jack, and Wili.”

Father Miller has lectured and preached all over the world on Sam’s gospel, but this will be the first presentation on the island of Kaua’i.

The book, in its fourth printing, will be available for purchase and autographs.

According to Academy-Award-nominated screenwriter William Broyles, Jr. (Apollo 13, Castaway, The Polar Express), “William Miller is a magician with language.”

Services are 5:30 p.m. tomorrow and 7:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Call 245-3796 for more information.
