If you were at the KIF track championships on Thursday and Friday, you’ve got to see the results of all those hot dogs and snacks that Ester Estes was selling throughout the track season. Tiffany Ikeda-Simao, Jamilee Jimenez, Aric Consino and Tyrus Ceria-Lux all had their KIF record-breaking jumps posted on the new distance indicator. Now weren’t those hot dogs worth it?

Pat Viernes was busy with KIF starter duties so turned over the starter gun to Clyde Vito for the Hershey’s event. Marlo Lewis-Medeiros had her little one in tow to watch daughter Kawehi run, and with the two other moms, said she had three-fourths of a relay team.

Coach Leonard Vegas simply crossed the street from the KSA soccer games at the North Vidinha field. Coaches Kevin Devitt and Karl Ubongen did the same thing last week when the middle school athletes were competing in the county’s age group meet.
