Ha‘aheo Teenie Wahine continues to reign undefeated in the GU8 division following its 8-0 win over the Westside Falcons which dropped to 0-9-0 in the standings while the Ha‘aheo TW sit at 10-0-0 and 30 points with two weekends remaining in the season.
Southside Lunachicks, a 2-1 winner over Kapa‘a Blaze Diamond, hold second place honors in the GU8 division with a 7-2-0 record and 21 points while the Blaze Diamond and the Kapa‘a Blaze Gold are tied for third place at 3-6-0 and 9 points each.
The Westside Falcons’ 9 and 10 teams continue to wrestle for the lead in the BU10 division as both teams won their respective contests.
The Falcons 9 emerged a 2-1 winner over the Kilauea Kilas and has the division lead at 7-1-1 and 22 points. Hot on its tail, the Falcons 10, taking a 1-0, and 5-0 margin over the Lightning Sharks in a double-header, are in second place at 7-2-0 and 21 points.
The Kilas’ loss puts them in third place at 5-3-1 and 16 points followed by the Sharks at 2-7-0 and 6 points while Team Motiv-8 is still looking for its first win.
Hokulele, following its 2-1 edge over the Kaua‘i Sharks in a tight defensive battle, controls the GU10 division with an undefeated 10-0-0 record and 30 points while the Sparks end up in a tie with the Kaua‘i Kickers, a 4-3 victim to Real Waimea, at 4-6-0 and a dozen points each.
Real Waimea chalked up its second season win and sits at 2-8-0 and 6 points.
The Westside Falcons continue to control the BU12 division following their 4-0 win over the Lihu‘e Scrapas.
The Northshore Arsenal follow at 7-2-0 and 21 points while the Scrapas drop to 1-7-1 in a tie with Team Motiv-8. Each team has 4 points.
KSC-Blazing Angels, following a 3-1 win over Hokulele, holds a slim lead in the GU12 division with a 7-0-2 record and 23 points. Hot on the Angels’ tail is Hawaiian Heat, a 10-0 winner over the Northshore Chargers, with a 7-1-1 record and 22 points.
With the loss, Hokulele drops to 4-4-1 and 13 points for third place in the division followed by the Eastside Crew (1-6-1) with 4 points and the Chargers (0-8-1) and a point.
Westside United took a 4-1 win over the GIFC-Cougars to maintain its lead in the BU14 division with an 8-0-1 record and 25 points followed by the Eastside Lightning, enjoying a bye, sitting at 3-2-3 and a dozen points.
The Cougars, following their loss, drop to 3-4-2 and 11 points while the Eastside Galaxy, a 6-0 winner over the Northshore Spartans, finish the week at 2-5-2 and 8 points followed by the Spartans with a 2-7-0 record and 6 points.
Ha‘aheo Kaua‘i dropped a 2-0 contest to Kaona in the GU14 but maintains a slim lead in that division with a 7-2-1 record and 22 points followed by Kaona finishing at 7-3-0 and 21 points.
Team Onipa‘a, a 1-0 winner for the GIFC-13, is in third place with a 4-4-2 record and 14 points while the GIFC-13 is still looking for its first season win.
GIFC-East wrapped up a 5-2 win over the Eastside Fusion to maintain the lead in the GU18 division, finishing the week at 5-3-1 and 16 points while the Fusion sit at 3-5-1 and 10 points.
