High school and college students 16 years old and older can turn in applications for the county’s summer employment program through Friday.

Applications can also be picked up at the Mo‘ikeha Building, Department of Personnel Services, Suite 140, or at the mayor’s office, Suite 235, or at any neighborhood center.
Internships will be offered in various county departments from June 16 to July 31.
Employment in the Summer Enrichment Program, including recreation and golf course aides, will run from June 12 to July 21.
Supervisory positions are also available for program coordinators and site managers for qualified adults in the Summer Enrichment Program.
Positions are also available in the beach/pool lifeguards program, which will start the first week in June and end in August.
All applicants selected for employment are required to pass a drug-screening test and/or successfully complete a fingerprinting and criminal history record check.
