Kapa‘a theater to present pre-show programming
Hollywood Theaters in 15 states, including the Kapa‘a theater on Kaua‘i, will begin presenting pre-show programming and advertising by digital in-theater network operator National CineMedia LLC.
The agreement, which takes effect April 1 for 480 screens nationwide, includes the presentation of National CineMedia’s program FirstLook, in-theater corporate meetings and event services, as well as live and pre-recorded in-theater entertainment events.
“We are pleased to be adding Hollywood Theaters as our newest affiliate partner participating in NCM’s cinema advertising business, in-theater meetings and NCM FATHOM events,” said Kurt Hall, president and chief executive officer of National CineMedia.
Clyde Cornell, chief operating officer of Hollywood Theaters, said the company expects increased ancillary revenues through the NCM programs.
