The county of Kaua‘i will be honoring seniors 65 and older who have made exceptional contributions to the community.
Residents can submit names of nominees for the award, which is issued by the Agency on Elderly Affairs.
Two awards will be given for 2008 Outstanding Male and Female Older American.
Nomination forms are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Elderly Affairs office in the Lihu‘e Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building.
The deadline to submit a nomination is March 7.
The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony on May 8.
