Peter Rayno had Ernie Domingo in tow at CKMS as they checked out the offering before getting their Miguel huli-huli chicken (Ernie forgot the rice). Peter is all excited about his trip to the Sugar Bowl. He said this is the first time he’s ever had the chance to go to a bowl game this size, and knows several people who are going, too.
Denice Sheffer was collecting the chicken tickets and said people who like Picking (guitar) in the Park can check out the event Dec. 23 at Salt Pond Park from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Looks like Betty Ihara’s idea of sending lei to New Orleans is catching on. Kenny Ishii is trying to get all the UH Warrior fans together for a big photo shoot Saturday at Vidinha Stadium so he can send it to the Warriors to show Kaua‘i’s support for them in the Sugar Bowl.
