Wainiha water service interruptions planned tomorrow

The Wainiha bridge replacement contractor is going to temporarily interrupt water service tomorrow as part of the Wainiha Bridge project, the state announced yesterday. The Department of Water has been going door-to-door to notify impacted customers.

The contractor is installing new waterlines that cross the bridges that will require service interruptions.

The water service in the Wainiha area will be interrupted intermittently on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The water service interruptions will affect consumers along Ananalu Road, Anahulu Road, Ala‘eke Road and Kuhio Highway south of Wainiha Powerhouse Road.
