Stories and testimonies about the addictive drug called crystal methamphetamine or “Ice.” are being sought for a booklet called, “In This Life, End Ice:” “Stories of Struggles and Successes.”
Stories can tell how a person quit this drug, the death of a loved one from this drug, how one has been affected by ice, or anything one can share to help others with this addiction.
Even those wo haven’t quit, their suggested attempts at quitting might help someone else.
“Your story just might be the one that can encourage someone else to quit,” coordinator Janice Bond states in a press release.
“You just might make the difference in someone else’s life. You might have a story someone else can relate to.”
In order for a booklet of these personal stories to be ready for the new year, writings should be sent, to Janice Bond, 3920 Hunakai St., Lihu‘e, HI 96766 or e-mail stories to janbond@hawaiilink.net.
