The holiday season can be a difficult time for those of us who’ve lost a loved one. Kaua‘i Hospice offers an opportunity to remember them at its annual candle lighting memorial service at 5:30 p.m. Monday at St. Catherine Church in Kapa‘a.
The hour-long service is non-denominational and open to all community members and visitors.
Kaua‘i Hospice recognizes the need for additional support during the holidays. Join other community members in this quiet ritual of recognition and love.
All who participate will hold a glowing symbol of the relationship that still exists with their loved ones. This ceremony provides comfort, respite and meaningful support.
KQNG radio personality Ron Wiley will be attending, reciting the names of loved ones who have died. Larry Rivera will be sharing his musical talent for the gathering. Following the service, there will be an informal reception with refreshments. For more information, call Hospice at 245-7277.
