The Lihu‘e and Hanapepe Corps of the Salvation Army invites all to its annual Thanksgiving luncheons the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
The Lihu‘e Corps of the Salvation Army will hold its Thanksgiving luncheon at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon. Larry Rivera will be there to entertain, as well as the Senior ‘Ukulele Band from the Lihu‘e Senior Center.
The Hanapepe Corps of the Salvation Army will be serving its annual Thanksgiving luncheon from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at the Hanapepe Corps, located next to the ballpark in Hanapepe. Entertainment will be provided by the seniors from the Kekaha, Waimea, Kaumakani, Hanapepe, Kalaheo and Koloa senior centers.
Both corps’ luncheons are open to anyone who would like to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving lunch of turkey and all the fixings; mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberries, vegetables, rolls and pumpkin squares for dessert.
“We are so blessed to have the many generous donations from the community each year so that we can join together with family and friends to give thanks,” said Captain Mitham Clement of the Lihu‘e Corps.
