Roslyn Rose Kimball
Sept. 5, 1922 to Sept. 13, 2007
Roslyn Kimball passed peacefully in her San Diego home of cancer, Sept. 13, 2007, while listening to slack key guitar and ukelele and wearing an orchid lei hand delivered with love from Kauai. A toast was immediately made in her honor. She so loved Hawaii and spent time on the North Shore of Kauai each year where she saw many a Hanalei sunset. For those who were privileged to know “Roz,” her humor, sweetness and optimism will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held at Glenn Abbey’s Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, Calif., where she will be placed in a crypt with her beloved husband “Jimmy,” James Ralph Kimball.
We her family, wish to extend a big Mahalo to all Roz’s Kauai friends, who have shown her such kindness, love and hospitality over the years.
