Cardiovascular disease remains the leading killer in America, according to a press release. According to the Centers for Disease Control, heart disease alone is the leading cause of death in Hawai‘i, accounting for 1,017 women’s deaths in 2004.
Every day the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association is working hard in the community to build healthier hearts and lives.
