LETTER ONE:
Aloha Captain Andy and SOS,
Thank you so much for the opportunity to go whale watching … it was purely awesome and a little wet!
The boat ride was really fun, I enjoyed sitting on the top seats near the mast the views were amazing!
I think doing these kinds of field trips are great for students. We are able to see different perspectives on where we live from mauka to makai.
I also enjoyed the whale curriculum it was very interesting and full of great facts.
These kind of SOS programs make me want to go to school and learn in my marine science class, it’s like a reward to go on these field trips.
Once again thank you so much, Mahalo,

LETTER TWO:
Captain Andy,
Thank you very much for allowing us to go on that whale watch. It was very fun.
I believe that Save Our Seas programs like this could turn some people on to studying marine life for a living.
I also learned some new and interesting facts about whales. I think that it would be pretty cool to do things like that in the future.
Thank you for providing this opportunity to us.
Thank You,
Tommy Hoen, grade 10
LETTER THREE:
Dear Captain Andy and Save Our Seas,
Thank you so much for all that you have done for our school and class. Luckily, I didn’t get sick and I had a great time. It is an amazing thing that we are able to go on a whale watch for a school trip. Tons of students cannot say they’ve done that with their school. I think we should go on another whale watch maybe when it is a sunny day. But, even though it was raining it still was fun.
These trips and adventures mean so much to me. It gets us outside of the classroom having fun and learning at the same time.
Thank you so much for these great opportunities.
Sincerely,
Elli Sherrer, grade 10
