The Garden Island corrects errors of fact in news stories. If you notice an error, please contact us at one of the numbers listed below.

• A Tuesday article entitled, “Say offered plea deal in drug charge,” may have implicated that Byron Say faces only a maximum of 10 years in prison. The article should have included that his punishment will be determined by the judge, and that any plea deal hashed out by attorneys can be denied.

• In the 14 & Under basketball story “Strong ‘D’ gives Athletics, Laukona wins” that ran in yesterday’s paper, Malena Ledesma was erroneously recognized as Makana. Malena Ledesma is his name.
