Bryan, who scored one goal in the first half, sparked a second-half Sharks’ surge, breaking a 2-2 halftime stalemate. He finished with a game-high five goals in the victory.
Troy Spears led the Dragons effort with three goals, two coming in the second half, and the final goal getting an assist from Prisma Verzosa.
Versoza also assisted Robin Bihm in his goal that came with 37 seconds showing in the half to tie the contest in the Squirts division.
The Sunday win gives the Sharks a sweep over the weekend series as Eli Leech-Kritchman and Jed Ragudo each scored two goals Friday night in its 4-1 win over the Dragons.
Versoza was the sole scorer in that contest.
She also netted two goals in the Mites’ division Friday night when the Fireballs shut out the Wave Riders 2-0, goalkeeper Natalie Lewis going a perfect 8-for-8 on the win.
Marissa Aceret, the nimble midfielder for the Sharks, took on the goalkeeper duties for the Wave Riders with a 13-for-15 performance.
This was reversed Sunday as the Wave Riders shut out the Fireballs 2-0 with Aceret going 9-for-9 in the box while Lewis finished 18-for-20.
Isaac Lakotas and Shannon Sitzler scored the Wave Riders’ goals in the Sunday victory.
Aceret, back in the teal shirt for the Squirts, had one goal in the Sharks’ win. Leech-Kritchman netted a pair of goals to help Bryan’s five-goal offense. Ragudo had an assist in the win.
In the Bantam division, the Green split its weekend series with a 4-4 tie against the Whap’paas Friday and dropping a 6-3 contest against the Devils Sunday.
Jean-Luc Tremblay sparked Green’s Friday night performance with a goal and an assist with Kaysie Ota, Christian Perdue, Stephanie Steuri and Kirsten McCracken, coming off a strong distance performance at the KIF track meet, netting a goal each.
Trevor McCracken paced the Whap’paas with a hat trick and Marcus Punua added the icing with a goal.
Zack Rodrigues and Corey Nemeth each finished with an assist.
Whap’paa goalkeeper Grant Basquez was 24-for-28 while Greg Balmores, tending for the Green, finished 49-for-53.
Sutton Keener, Kirsten McCracken and Trevor McCracken each scored a goal for Green in their Sunday effort, while Ota finished with an assist.
Brandon Taylor led the Devils’ attack with a pair of goals and an assist. Mathias Davis, Cydney Sitzler and Zack Lewis also netted goals in the win.
