The driver of the vehicle in last week’s two car crash on O‘ahu that killed a Kaua‘i woman, Leshay Gusman, 18, did not have alcohol in her system, the Honolulu Medical Examiner said yesterday.
The driver, Whitney Fergerstrom, 18, of the Big Island, died in the accident as well. The autopsy results also found Fergerstrom did not have any drugs in her system.
Five others were injured in the accident.
Memorial services for the two girls, who are Kamehameha school graduates, are being planned at the Kapalama campus chapel on O‘ahu.
