Last year was a busy year at the Kaua‘i Children’s Discovery Museum with the opening of the colorful Kids Kaua‘i exhibit.
Through it all, volunteers have made day-to-day operations a reality.
Last month, a small open house was held at the museum to honor a few of the volunteers who contributed hours of time and energy in 2006.
Natalie Lewis received “Intern of the Year 2006,” Sue Spears received “Volunteer of the Year 2006” and Wailani Reyes received “Junior Intern of the Year 2006.”
Also honored, although not present, was Elizabeth Navas, selected as “Volunteer of the Quarter” for the period of October-December 2006.
