Dakota Barnett, Seri Niimi-Burch and Sonya Tupou were the JV Warrior girls scorers.
In the boys contest, both Kapa‘a and Kaua‘i battled to a 0-0 tie at the final whistle.
Wednesday will mark the end of the first round when Kaua‘i will travel to the Hanapepe Stadium for a game against the Menehune.
However, as a prelude to Round 2 which starts with the Saturday game, the varsity girls will take the field starting at 4 p.m. followed by the boys varsity teams squaring off starting at 6 p.m.
The Wednesday game will feature only the varsity teams.
Starting Saturday, the JV girls will take the field starting at 10 a.m. followed by the JV boys starting no earlier than 11:45 a.m.
Varsity contest will have the varsity girls starting no earlier than 1:30 p.m. followed by the varsity boys starting no earlier than 3:30 p.m.
Round 2 will open Saturday when Kapa‘a travels to Hanapepe Stadium to take on Waimea.
