Four swimmers from Swim Kaua‘i Aquatics will be heading for the Age Group Short Course Championships in Kona next weekend.
Ryann Linthicum will head the quartet of SKA people with qualifying times in seven events. She will be joined by Matt Ross, who has four qualifying times; and Emma Rausch and Anya Littlefield, who head to the Big Island with qualifying times in two events each.
SKA coach Greg Davis said Linthicum added three new qualifying times just last weekend when she qualified for the 100 Individual Medley, 500 Free and 50 Back at a Maui swim tournament.
Linthicum, swimming in the Female 11-12 division, also has qualifying times in the 50 Fly, 50 Free, 100 Free and 200 Free.
Ross, who will be swimming unattached, will be able to attach himself to SKA just two days following the Kona meet, Davis said.
He will be competing in the Boys 15-16 class with qualifications in the 100 Back, 200 Back, 100 Breast and 100 Free.
Littlefield will be swimming in the Female 11-12 division with qualifying times in the 200 Free and 500 Free.
Rausch, swimming in the Female 13-14 class, holds qualifying times in the 100 Breast and 100 Back.
