I would like to send a warm heartfelt MAHALO to all of Kaua‘i for helping us celebrate King Kamehameha’s Birthday on June 17, 2006, and especially those who participated to honor the King. I was saddened by the lack of community participation but am grateful for all those who came out to participate and support.
I have since had many individuals committing to help next year, so I am hopeful that next year will be a success.
Again MAHALO and ALOHA to the people of Kaua‘i for your continued support in this great celebration.
