Elaine V. Marchi of Kalaheo died April 1, 2006, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 75.
Born Nov. 16, 1930, in Richmond, Calif., she was a mother and mentor to many.
She is survived by her son, Paul (Aida) Marchi; daughter, Claudette (Jim) Muchmore; four grandchildren: Alika Hirano, Corinne Hirano, Jessica Marchi and Melissa Marchi; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 10 a.m on Saturday, April 8 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa, where memorial services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Nap.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by the staff of Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Charles Mario Fraticelli
Charles “Carley” Mario Fraticelli of Honolulu died April 3, 2006, in Honolulu, at the age of 97.
Born Nov. 20, 1908, in Koloa, he was a retired machinist for Pearl Harbor.
He is survived by his wife Lucy, sons Charles “Sonny” (Esther) Fraticelli Jr., Clarence (Joyce), Herman (Celia) Fraticelli; daughter: Emily (Jerry) Harris; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; sister: Carmen Fernandez.
Services will be on Thursday, April 13 with visitation from 5 to 9 p.m., service at 7 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Burial at 9 a.m. Friday, April 14 at Hawaiian Memorial Park cemetery.
Aloha attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
Raphael Rapozo
Raphael Rapozo of Hanama’ulu died on April 5, 2006, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 88.
He was born in Lihu’e on Sept. 14, 1917, and retired as a machinist with Lihue Sugar Plantation.
He is survived by two sisters; Olivia Edwards and Ester Rapozo of Honolulu, caregivers; David and Dolores Dias of Hanama’ulu, numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 11 at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing at 9:00 a.m. and mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in Kapaia.
The staff of Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
