Americo Morris (2-3), Gordon Doo (2-4), Ben Pescador (2-4), Kaleo Furtado (3-3), Ale Lomosad (3-4, 2 RBI’s), Junior Ruiz (3-4, 3 RBI’s), and Pancho DeCosta (3-4, 3 RBI’s), led Kuku’s Aces in the hitting department.
The Lihu’e A’s pounded East Kaua’i, 14-2 in five innings, thanks to the bats of Gary Wardlow (2-2), Tomoo Hiranaka (2-2), Ron Alfonso (2-2), Peter Rayno (2-3, 3 RBI’s), and Randy Tomlinson (2-3).
Damien Victorino, Jerome Hew, Alex Youn, and Les Kubo all went 1-2 for East Kaua’i.
The Rookies and East Kaua’i engaged in a slugfest, with the Rookies taking the last jab, 19-15.
Stan Dela Cruz (2-4, 3 RBI’s), Archie Fontanilla (3-3, 2 RBI’s), Mike Folster (3-4, 4 RBI’s), Raymond Espino (3-4), and Patrick Cassier (3-4, HR).
Damien Victorino, Dickie Koerte, Ronnie Holt, and Sonny Waialeale put up 2-4 efforts for East Kaua’i.
Koerte also nailed in two RBI’s.
Jerome Hew, Alex Youn, Donald Boro, and Norman Holt, all went 3-4.
In the final game, K-Makule ousted Kawaihau, 17-11.
Gordon Arakaki (2-4, 2 RBI’s), Kenneth Tamashiro (2-3), Doric Remata (2-3, HR, 4 RBI’s), Eddie Dela Cruz (3-4), and Jerry Albarado (3-4), led K-Makule.
Paul Steinfort paced Kawaihau with a 3-4 performance, which included 2 RBI’s.
