Francesco and Daisy Garripoli are shifting to teaching more regular, and shorter, qigong classes on Kaua‘i, responding to the request of many students on the island who have been regularly attending monthly, all-day workshops, they said in their most recent newsletter.
This Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., both of them will lead a session, qigong for health, at their Kahuna Valley retreat in Kapa‘a.
It is a trend toward more half-day and two-hour qigong mini-workshops, they said.
Call Daisy Garripoli at 822-4268 to reserve a place in the class.
They will be off-island next month, on their spring teaching tour, so won’t be offering any classes on Kaua‘i in March, they said.
