Officials in the administration of Mayor Bryan J. Baptiste will be holding regional meetings in various communities, and the first one, for those living in Hanama‘ulu, Lihu‘e, Puhi, Koloa, Po‘ipu, and ‘Oma‘o, is today at 7 p.m. at the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School in Puhi.
According to a press release, the second regional meeting will take place on Feb. 15, at 7 p.m.
at the Hanapepe Hawaii Army National Guard armory, for those living in Lawa‘i, Kalaheo, ‘Ele‘ele, Hanapepe, Kaumakani, Makaweli, Waimea, Kekaha and Mana.
Baptiste and county department heads will be present to discuss concerns relative to the respective regional areas, and island-wide issues.
Additionally, there will be time for residents to ask questions.
“It has always been about doing our best for and in partnership with the communities to improve the quality of life for our residents, and I look forward to the regional meetings,” said Baptiste.
