• Request for permits by Kukui‘Ula Development Company (Hawaii) LLC, to build a “plantation core,” including a dining area, lounge and retail amenities, a golf clubhouse facility, a spa facility, a keiki cottage and 21 one-bedroom guest units.

• Request for permits by Grove Farm Company to convert a pig farm in Puhi into an orchid farm.

• Request for permits by Historic Koloa Village, LLC. to build a new shopping center on land mauka of existing commercial areas on Koloa Road in old Koloa Town. Project envisions the relocation of the Koloa Post Office.

• Proposed resolution asking the state Legislature to authorize the state Department of Transportation to have passenger cruise ship companies and Hawaii Superferry pay fees for a new fund for drug interdiction and invasive species programs.

Kaua‘i Liquor Control Commission

Feb. 2, 4 p.m.

Lihu‘e Civic Center

• Actions of directors related to social and other activities at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, Poipu Bay Grill & Bar and Rob’s Good Times Grill.

Action also is pending for activity of the West Kauai Business & Professional Association.

Lihu‘e Civic Center

• Discussion by Barnes Riznik on design and review and preservation treatment programs and update on the master plan for the Lihu‘e civic center advanced by the Kaua‘i County Public Works Department.
