Kaua‘i students ready for Spelling Bee

Top spellers from public and private schools on Kaua‘i will compete for first and second places at the Kaua‘i Complex Area Spelling Bee Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School in Puhi.

The tops spellers from St. Theresa’s in Kekaha, Eleele, Kilauea, Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle, Kapa‘a Middle, and Waimea Canyon schools will compete in the competition. The top two winners will travel to O‘ahu for the state championship in March.
