Church at Koloa to hold sessions on ‘bitterness’

Pastor Harold Kilborn of the Church of Koloa will be giving talks, “Bitterness Will Destroy You,” tomorrow at 7 p.m., and on Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

“A lot of people struggle with (bitterness),” Kilborn said.

“It’s something that can be destructive to a person, physically and mentally. Sometime people just don’t know how to let go,” he said.

In these sessions, Kilborn said he will try to preach about what bitterness is, and how to get rid of it.

“If you don’t deal with it properly, it will take its toll,” he said.

“People get bitter at their jobs when they get passed on a promotion.

Some are bitter towards their parents, or their husbands or wives.

“It’s an ongoing problem,” Kilborn explained.

He said that, hopefully, he can provide people some answers on the subject.

“Hopefully I can show people how to handle bitterness biblically, so they can get rid of it,” he said.

Kilborn has previously done verse-by-verse sessions on books of the Bible, such as Genesis and Revelation.
