Kaua’i District Tennis Association announces a Mixed Doubles Tennis League captains’ meeting today at noon at Po’ipu Kai tennis courts.

Kaua’i Hoe Wa’a presents its second race
YMCA Kaua’i Hoe Wa’a is hosting its second paddling race of the season at 12:00 p.m. tomorrow.
Courses as follows: Short – Hanamaulu Bay to Kalapaki / Long – Wailua to Kalapaki. Registration from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Kalapaki.
Prerace meetings will be held at 11:30 a.m. at both Hanamaulu and Kalapaki.
The weather may dictate a course change so please call the race hot line at 635-0388 for any race updates
today.
Po’okela Volleyball meeting
Po’okela Volleyball Club will be holding tryouts for boys 18 and under and 16 and under tomorrow from 12:00 – 2 p.m. at Kaua’i High School.
Parents who did not attend the info. meeting in December will be required to sign waivers for athlete participation and receive information regarding the program.
The club is a member of USA Junior Volleyball – Aloha Region.

Waimea coaches wanted
Waimea High School is looking for a tennis coach for the upcoming season.
Also, The Menehune football program is inviting interested individuals to apply for a coaching position for next season.
