Juliette Nani ‘Pachi’ Brede

Juliette Nani ‘Pachi’ Brede of Anahola, died Dec. 30, 2005, at her home at the age of 68.

Born July 17 1937, in Lihu’e, she was a waitress for the Kauai Sands, Kauai Surf and The Westin Hotel.

Preceded in death by two grandsons: Brian Low Jr. and Moroni Balai, she is survived by her husband: William A. Brede, Jr.; five children: Deborah K. Balai, William A. Brede III, Julieann (Gilbert) Balai, Sr., Shane (Susan) Brede, Gilmath (Sheri Smith) Brede; two sisters: Marlene (Kaleo) Furtado, Charlene (Ronald) Boyce; three brothers: Stanley (Lorraine) Kaluahine, Gilbert (Jeanette) Kaluahine, and Matthew (Marlene) Kaluahine; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with the family starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at Kapaa Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where services will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.

Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Bothwick Kauai Mortuary.
