- Total production of Kaua’i and Hawai’i coffee is expected to be up for the 2005-06 season, with farm prices of $3.80 a pound up 7 percent from last year, and the highest average farm price in 16 seasons. Farm value climbed to $24.3 million in the 2005-06 season, up 22 percent from the 2004-05 season and marking the highest farm revenue total for coffee since the 1998-99 harvest that generated $24.7 million in farm revenues, according to statistics from state Department of Agriculture.
