First-round champs open up second round

Although school isn’t in session for Kapa’a, the Warriors are still hoping to continue its dominance in KIF volleyball.

Both the girls and boys squads are undefeated with 4-0 records, with the KIF’s first round titles in hand.

The Warriors travel to Waimea to face the Menehune tonight, starting at 5 p.m. with the boys match. The girls will follow no earlier than 6:30 p.m.

Kapa’a continues its busy week of volley-ball on Saturday against the Red Raiders at the Bernice Hundley Gymnasium.

The JV volleyball round-robin tournament also starts up again after a week off. The games on Saturday will be in Waimea.
