So my five bucks really didn’t go to waste! Despite early morning rains, the 4th Annual Kaua’i Filipino Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament marched on.
Plus Jon Lucas of Agor Architecure won’t lose anymore sleep over his $1 donation!
Just before the event began, all participants were greeted by volunteers, who were collecting raffle ticket funds, which would support Hurricane Katrina victims.
After all was said and done, the tournament was able to supply the Kaua’i Salvation Army with a $1,000 check.
Kaua’i Filipino Chamber of Commerce president Ron Agor was happy with the turnout of the Labor Day event, but wants the 5th Annual to be the biggest yet.
Captain Mitham Clement of the Kaua’i Salvation Army received the check recently from Agor, who was joined by Relief Fund Drive co-chair Jennifer Sandrowski, Golf Tournament chairman Cesar Portugal, and Dr. Antolin Apalla Jr. of the “Bayanihan” outreach committee.
