Workman’s CompWorkman’s Comp
I was distressed when my wife called me this morning informing me of the plan that Wilcox Health System has decided to stop accepting Workman’s Compensation Insurance.
My office has been working hard on a contingency plan to efficiently handle the new regulations and administrative tasks that have been put into effect by the State. My office will continue to accept Workman’s Compensation Insurance. However, I do not have the resources at Dr. Craig Netzer’s office to handle the administrative tasks. Therefore, I would kindly ask that consultation referral requests be made with visits to be scheduled at my Kuakini office. Although this will present some inconveniences to the patient, the travel expense should be well covered by the insurance carrier due to lack of willing providers on the island of Kaua‘i. After my initial visit with the patient here on Honolulu, I will use my discretion as to whether or not the patient can be seen for follow-up on Kaua‘i at my Dynasty Court Office.
I hope to continue to provide care for the people Kaua‘i to the best of my abilities. If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me.
