Midget Division
In a pair of exciting, close games the Southpaw Board Bangers barely got by the Allstate Insurance Rangers to win the Midget Championship. In the winner’s bracket game, Chase Bohn scored the winning goal in overtime to lift his team to a 5-4 win after the Rangers overcame a 4-0 deficit to tie in regulation.
Bohn also scored an earlier goal and an assist, while Ty Akama again led the Rangers with 2 goals and 2 assists. In the elimination game, the Rangers defeated the Bruins 8-2 behind Akama’s 5 goals and 1 assist.
