- According to a survey conducted with 100 local small businesses by the Hawaii Small Business Development Center (SBDC), two percent of those businesses reported gross sales (or revenues) for 2004 in excess of $5 million, while four percent reported gross sales (or revenues) of between $2 million and $5 million.
Thirty six percent reported gross sales of less than $250,000.
