Anuhea Huddy, a tough performer in the tiny wahine division, managed to earn first-place in her division at the Kaua‘i Motocross Riders Association’s race recently at the Wailua Motocross Track.
In the mini wahine competition, Kelli Berry outhustled Malia Byrum for the victory. Bronson Laborte took the top spot for the boys mini “A” contest.
Makana DeSilva and Madison Leanio battled for the top prize in the Mini “B” boys division, but DeSilva edged Leanio in the end.
The fast 50’s winner was Jesse Britt, who out raced Brian Morales and Rodel Domingo.
In the vets race, Isaac Oshita got off to a good start and eventually won the race over Chava Greenlee. Terry Pagador won the masters race.
It was all Billy Carvalho in the flat A competition and Chris Walcher grabbed the win over Lee Pagador in the flat B race.
Jesse Britt won the flat expert race and Paul Medeiros won the “A” quads contest and Kaua‘i High School’s Pancho Lopez sped away from Rick Banasihan for the quads “B” victory.
Brian Medeiros was spectacular in the 60 B race and Jake Monroe was just too good for Jerrid Ham Young in the 80 A competition.
Alex Berry was the “man” in the 80 B race and Monroe got his second win of the day in the 125 novice contest.
Kody Pagador beat out Tommy Berry for the 125 amateur win and Britt also got his second win of the afternoon in the 125 expert.
In the 250 novice race, Mikey Abell was the top performer and in the 250 amateur contest, Simone Vannucci put up the top performance of the day.
Britt nailed down an amazing day with his third win in the 250 expert competition.
