Yes on the superferry

I have been reading and evaluating the pro’s and con’s regarding the superferry. Recently some political groups or commissions cause or even bury the developers requests to move forward reasonably quickly.
Some say they are worried about the influx of homeless people and more crime, traffic, housing if someone decides to stay there are many arguments and educated reasons why not to build the superferry.
However, there are ten fold positive reasons why Kaua‘i should have a ferry.
Cost for the local people that need to go to other islands, perhaps for a funeral, a wedding, a birth of a grandson, to just do what they have a fundamental right to do travel, without waiting for our local Mainland-serving airlines to drop their prices so we think we can afford it and forget the superferry.
I for one will not fall for that again. The airlines forced Mid-Pac Air, Mahalo Airlines out and within several months of each occurrence fares doubled and in some case tripled. I realize that 911 caused some problems, but I flew a couple of weeks afterwards and a good friend flew a local airline and like mine every seat is sold Even with one of airlines currently lowered restricted fare of $69 each way will most likely be 75 2.819487e-308ss for one person to ride the ferry both ways in lieu of one way.
The superferry needs the local residents and local business support so we have a option to do what we choose and is best for us.
