Corinne M. Gallardo, a Kaua‘i native and the daughter of Maggie Gallardo of Hanama‘ulu and the late Carlos Gallardo, is still beaming over the recent showing of her works at the Pauahi Tower Gallery on the second floor of 1001 Bishop St. in Honolulu.
She works full-time in the offices of one of the state senators, and is also an artist. She still frequently makes it home to visitor family members and friends, she said.
Her exhibit, “Art and Poetry,” included over 40 pieces of original art, inspirational poetry and colorful hand-painted bottles and vases.
She dedicated the show to her father, who passed away a year ago from cancer. His strength and courage have inspired her to keep her dreams alive, she said. The show ran for a month, ending in late December.
