Norie Raquel, 58, employed by Big Save Inc. as a Meat and Seafood Buyer, from Kapa‘a aced Wailua’s 17th hole on Nov. 21. Norie used a Callaway Big Bertha 3 wood and this was his first hole In one during his 7 year golf career.
Also, Andrew James of Phoenix, Arizona aced Wailua Golf Course’s 17th Hole, 173 yards, on Nov 16, 2004 using a Topflight 5 club. It is his first hole in one during his 10 year golf career. Meanwhile, at Puakea Golf Course, John Finley of Toronto, Ontario shot a hole in one on Saturday, Nov. 20. He used a 9 iron on hole #16 (120 yards).

Blessing of the bikes
Kaua‘i’s first annual “Blessing of the Bikes” event happens on Sunday, Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., under the tent, behind street Eagle Harley-Davidson Rentals, 3-1866 Kaumuali‘i Highway, Puhi. Free breakfast for all motorcyclists and passengers, with a hula halau and hawaiian blessing. Also a complimentary lei will be provided for your motorcycle. Lihu‘e baseball registration
The Lihu‘e Baseball League is having Pinto Registration from Monday, Nov. 29 to Friday, Dec. 3 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lihu‘e County Park. This is for youths 7-9 years of age. Kaiola recruiting for Na Opio program
Kaiola Canoe Club’s Na Opio (youth) program is recruiting students (ages 10-18) interested in paddling outrigger canoes.
