Hawai‘i is now a swing state. We have had our Pearl Harbor and we don’t want another one. But, we invite one with our divided and partisan nation, and our negative attitudes in our country especially in Washington D.C., it’s wars, and the current economy.
Less than half of our eligible voters bother to vote. Even more shamefully, around 40% of our professed Christians don’t bother to vote. A steady 60% plus vote by Christians would change every swing state election and probably the course of history. Our forefathers and past generations, who gave their lives by the millions for your freedom, would condem those who fail to vote and acknowledge that this failure has resulted in a steady erosion of our freedom and challenges our future leadership of the world. Christian values for the most part are overwhelmingly embraced by Americans and the free world who’s beliefs are only loosely historically connected to Christianity.
Be a stand-up patriot and honor your countrymen. Call a friend today, and acknowledge the wisdom and sacrifices of your forefathers and past generations, who gave us the world’s first true democracy and it’s three branches of government- which include: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial and a Constitution, Bill of Rights. Our unique democracy is the envy of the free world.
