Officials of Ultimate Franchise Systems, Inc. of Heathrow, Fla., announced last week the signing of an Obee’s restaurant master development agreement for Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i, Honolulu, and Maui counties.
The master development agreement calls for Obee’s soup-salad-subs restaurants over a seven-year period in the state.
Obee’s focuses on high-quality soups, salads and subs, with an emphasis on fresh-sliced meats and cheeses. Through master development agreements, Obee’s has signed commitments to open an additional 1,300 stores over the next 12 years.
The details of exactly where the new restaurants would be located on each island were not released.
“What interested me in Obee’s was the fast growth they have been able to establish for such a young company, plus the emphasis on catering and delivery,” said Michael Chrobak, with Ultimate Franchise.
Ultimate Franchise Systems, Inc. currently has investments in approximately 595 franchised restaurants and 40 weight-loss clinics in 30 states.
These brands include Gator’s Dockside Restaurants, Jreck Subs, Inc., Central Park Hamburgers, Li’l Dino’s Deli and Grille, Sobik’s Subs, Famous Uncle Al’s Hot Dogs, Flamers Hamburgers, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, Westshore Pizza, Obee’s Subs, New York Burrito and Beverly Hills Weight Loss.
