Bronson Hethcote and Sean Lipanovich proved to be the biggest winners at the 50th Annual Labor Day motocross races held last Saturday at the Wailua Motocross Track.
Hethcote won the 125 and 250 Expert races. Meanwhile, Lipanovich got the wins in the 85 A and 125 Novice races.
In other action, Jay Michaels got the win in the 50 BB race over Madison Leanio. Jesse Frangipane beat out Kaena Kuhaulua in the 50 B contest. The winner in the 50 A race was Ikela Nixon, followed by Justis Laidman.
Chance Daly cruised in for the 65 B win over Nixon and Ranger Laidman beat out Christopher Byram in the 65 A race.
Jake Monroe (85 B) and Kai Pattison (125 Amateur) were both victorious in their respective divisions.
In the Mini Wahine race, Rachel Ho‘omanawanui beat Kelli Berry for the victory. Alex Feyerison raced past Kendall Goo in the 250 Novice contest and George Ka‘awauhau won the 250 Amateur race over Bernard Andrade III.
In the Veterans contest, Keith Sunderlin breezed past Chava Greenlee for the win.
Jeffrey Gallardo got the Masters win over Terry Pagador, but Kody Pagador got his family in the win column with a victory in the Flat B race.
David Amorin won the Flat A contest and Chris Hoy took the Fast 50’s Stock race over Brian Morales.
For the Quads Keiki race, Chaunston Moniz beat out Aukai Akau. Brysen Souza won Quads D, Joel Andres was victorious in the Quads C, Robert Yoro slammed on the pedal for the win in the Quads B category, Paul Medeiros won the Quads A contest, and Sherri Braun beat Cassie Aguirre in the Quads Wahine challenge.
