It’s coming folks. The annual Road Runner Technology and Internet Expo, which travels the islands showcasing the latest high-tech innovations and interactive exhibits, is speeding toward Kaua‘i. The expo is partly sponsored by the state High Technology Development Corporation, and happens here Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort near Hanama‘ ulu, from noon to 6 p.m.
“We are in the process of finalizing a schedule of events and speakers for the expo, as well as the roster of participating companies,” said Stella Torres, expo coordinator. The expo is staged on all the Neighbor Islands, including Kaua‘i, and Kona and Hilo on the Big Island. It provides a unique showcase for high-technology companies and organizations to present their latest products, services and innovations through exciting interactive exhibits. The event will also feature seminars and special networking events. The expo is open to all members of high-tech companies and organizations, from wireless and Internet service providers, to hardware, software, Web-based technologies, and networking systems, biotechnology, telemedicine, distance education, and other fields.
